Plastic surgery prices in different countries
It's obvious for prices to be different. Especially if we consider prices of plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures. Basically, pricing of plastic surgery is formed as follows:
- doctor's qualification
- plastic surgery clinic's costs
- patient's income
- country's economic condition
Logically, the stronger economical condition in a specific country, the higher prices should be. But it not so obvious and prices of facelift, for example, in top notch plastic surgery clinics in Russia and US are almost identical. Although personal income in these countries is also different.
The major cost driver for plastic surgery are costs of doctors and costs of technology. However, it's not about prices. Many clinics in EE keep low margin to attract customers from wealthier countries of Western Europe.
